When an Australian music magazine spotlighted Scott in a feature article, it intrigued a Canadian songwriter, Brent Jeffery, enough to come down under and investigate. When Scott visited Canada, the duo penned a sheaf of songs together. Traveling to Nashville, Scott recorded with two-time Grammy nominated producer, Todd Rubenstein.
The resulting tracks, Scott's first major album, 10 Minutes Later - named after one of Scott's most famous quotes "I'll get to it in 10 minutes") - was born.  It attracted such strong industry interest that it was soon released on iTunes to astounding success.
